About the Website Application
All information that is available to the application is considered public record and is readily available at
all Ohio Board of Elections offices. By using the website application, that data is available right in the palm of your hand.
With this app you will be able to:
- See the Residence Address you currently have on file. If it is wrong, you can update your address
information from this app.
- See your voting history.
- Check the status of your Absentee ballot, if you have already requested one.
- Find your polling place information so you can know where to go vote.
- View available sample ballots for upcoming elections.
And much more!
How to Set Up
- Install the website as an application!
- From the webpage, select your home county from the drop-down menu; you will be redirected to the county page.
- On your first visit to the site, you will be prompted to accept the cookie settings. The cookie is used to store your specific voter registration identification number. No other personal information is saved.
- Install the website on your device
- You may have an option to "Install this site as an application on your device?" If you see this option, click on the "Install" button to create a shortcut directly on your device.
- If you do not have an option to install, you may use these steps:
- Locate the "Share" button.

- Tap on the button to display options.
- Tap on the "More" option
- Locate the "Add to Home Screen" item and tap on it.
- A screen will be displayed that will allow you to provide a name for the application. The name will be displayed on your home screen.
- Tap on "Add" to complete the process.
- Once you have installed the website, you can save your voter registration informtion for quick access in the future.
- Press the “Voter Lookup” icon.
- Type in your “Last Name” and your “First Name” then click on “Submit”.
- This will display some of the specific voter information that is on file for you.
- Next to “Name and Birth” you will see “Set as My Voter Info” in green. Selecting this will save your record and will display your details.
- From this point on, you can just click on the “My Voter Info” icon to look at the most current information
that is on file.
About App Functions
Voter Settings has all the app's settings in one menu. Set the search county, view or delete
your voter info.
When set, this function displays all your voter information on file. View sample ballots, check
absentee status, view voting history, and much more.
Look up any voter by name. Check statuses and past voting history for anyone in the selected
Search County.
Absentee Lookup allows you to check your absentee status by election.
Search for a polling location by any street address.
See sample ballots for a given election, district, or ballot style.
The home button will take you to the home page of the website application.
